How to look out for trousers and skirts that match your Gothic top.

Before, I browsed the web in the hopes of finding nice trousers to go with my Gothic tops, but with lttle luck.

Then, it hit me. I was trying to find something too spesific.

Here are a couple of styles of trousers that'll be found in local shops:

1. Leather trousers

Leather is a big fashion statement as of now, and we all know that leather is one of the key elements to any Gothic outfit. Look in places like Topshop (sizes 6-16), Peacocks (6-20) or do a google search for plus size leather trousers.

2. Black Straight leg Jeans

Straight Leg Jeans are the skinny jeans for plus sized women, as it skims over the imperfections of the legs and gives the illusion of skinny legs and a tight fit, but a comfy fit at the same time.

3. Shorts and short skirts paired with tights/leggings.

We can pull them off, with the combinations of tights and leggings. Leggings and tights make the legs look thinner than they actually are when worn under both shorts and skirts. With skirts, opt for something that goes just above the knees to hide big thighs. Keep that rule in mind for shorts if you're over a size 20.

4. Long Gypsy skirts

You'll find them in charity shops and most likely on certain clothing sites. Nice, subtle and eye catching, this skirt not only hides the whole leg, but it also compliments your Gothic style with a bohemian/medieval look.

5. Tartan print trousers

Great for the Batcaver look. If you rip holes in the front of the legs, wear fishnets underneath to give the legs that much needed modesty, but with a cool, classic twist to it.
